Activities for the SG50 celebrations are still pouring in as Singapore celebrates its Jubilee Year. It was just at the beginning of July that the whole nation rejoiced with the Singapore Botanic Gardens for its inscription as our very first UNESCO World Heritage Site. And now, for all book lovers, comes the best books warehouse sale in 2015.

The photo above shows my young friend Grace’s haul of books at the recent book fair at the Singapore Expo. The coming books warehouse sale from 01-10 August is an even better fair for all book lovers and consumers.

My Home Library

My home study contains a mini library of over 600 books. Some of the titles are shown in the photo above. These books continue to provide me with countless hours of reading pleasure and my study room is perhaps a good reflection of my soul.

Often, I have to make room for new books. What I do is to give away those that I have read and do not want to keep, by bringing them to the National Library so that others can benefit too.
