Retirement Travel And Continuous Education Part III, Mentorship
Inflight Internet Service...
I had wanted to stay in tune with technology by doing this post onboard my flight SQ38 yesterday. Singapore Airlines flight SQ38 to Los Angeles is one of those pioneering non-stop long-haul all-business class commercial flights. Unfortunately, the promised internet service was down. Oh well! that's technology. The excellent service onboard this 15-hour-plus flight more than compensated for the unavailabilty of the internet.
Mentor…
The main purpose of this travel is my pursuit of continous learning and education. Robert G. Allen, New York Times best-selling author, speaker and mentor has been my mentor for over two years. As his inner circle member in Exponential 100, I get to attend his next seminar in his home at Rancho Santa Fe, a community of beautiful homes surrounding the premier Rancho Valencia Resort and Spa in southern California.
Mentorship And Exponential Growth…
Whilst it is generally accepted that "mentorship is a personal developmental relationship in which a more experienced or more knowledgeable person helps to guide a less experienced or less knowledgeable person. However, true mentoring is more than just answering occasional questions or providing ad hoc help. It is about an ongoing relationship of learning, dialog, and challenge.~ Wikipedia", Bob has taken mentorship to a higher level. He was instrumental in setting up Exponential 100, a priveleged group of his successful students from the US, UK/Europe and Asia. We are both mentees as well as mentors, for we all can be on the giving end as well as on the receiving end. This way, we believe, is to grow exponentially.
