2013 New Year’s Resolutions

It's Another New Year 2013

It’s Another New Year 2013. Make Your New Year’s Resolutions

This is the new year 2013. And like other previous new years, people like you and I, make new year’s resolutions with the hope that we’ll make this 2013 a better year, do things that we failed to do before and generally want to improve ourselves. We make resolutions to achieve goals such as to : improve our mental and physical well-being, careers, finances, relationships, education and other objectives. Without these annual new year resolutions and goal setting, we run the risk of being just a pedestrian for the year. In other words, letting the year go by rather aimlessly.

Self-improvement…

It’s still timely to ask yourself now what your goals and resolutions to achieve them are. And I dare say that all improvements are self-improvement.

Continuous Learning…

Last year, I resolved to learn new things, the internet specifically, and have now become more internet savvy. This blog is the result! In addition, with like-minded new friends we have started an internet business to help local businesses go online. InternetWisers.com is our startup. My resolution this year is to continue my learning in mobile business solutions. If a baby boomer can do it, you the Gen X and Gen Y surely can. Go for it.

Maintain a State of Physical Well-being…

The mind is of no use, unless the physical body is healthy enough to sustain and carry it! In July last year, I achieved my goal of completing my Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu in Peru. My resolution this year is to continue with my long morning walks so as to maintain a state of physical well-being.

Our bodies are a unique machine. To keep them running smoothly, what we eat determines the state of their well-being. And to achieve congruence to what I wrote on a recent post “Know Your Magic Portions of Fruit and Vegetables to Take“, I started the new year with more intake of fresh fruit and vegetables. They can be colourful and pleasing to the eyes too! It is a fact that new year’s resolutions are more sustainable when shared. So I have peer support from my daughter!

So go ahead and live your new year’s resolutions.
